Our services
Music therapy services in Cupertino and the South Bay
Four ways to work with us. Every one of them is built around a specific person — their goals, their abilities, their interests, and the music they already love. No prior musical experience is required for any of it.

SERVICE ONE
Individual music therapy
One-to-one sessions built around goals we set with you at the start and revisit as they’re met. A session might use singing, instrument play, songwriting, or structured listening — the tools change constantly, the direction doesn’t.
What we work toward depends entirely on the person. For one client it’s saying a two-word phrase. For another it’s getting through a transition without a meltdown. For another it’s recognizing a spouse’s face when a song from 1962 is playing.

WHO IS THIS FOR
Children
Special Needs
Adults with IDD
Memory Care
Hospice
Sessions run 30, 45, or 60 minutes at our Cupertino studio, or at a facility. We’ll recommend a length after the consultation rather than asking you to guess.
SERVICE two
Group music therapy

Small groups do something a one-to-one session structurally can’t: they put other people in the room. Waiting for a turn, matching someone else’s tempo, noticing when a neighbour drops out — those only exist when there’s a group to practice them on.
We keep groups small enough that nobody disappears in them, and we build them around a shared goal rather than a shared diagnosis. A group might be four children working on turn-taking, or a circle in a memory care community where the singing is the point.
WHAT GROUPS TEND TO WORK ON
- Turn-taking and shared attention
- Communication with peers, not just with an adult
- Cooperation toward something that only works together
- Self-expression in front of others, at a safe volume
- Connection, for people who spend most of the week alone
SERVICE three
Adaptive music lessons

This one is not therapy. It’s music instruction — real repertoire, real progress, a recital if the student wants one — taught by someone with the clinical training to adapt how it’s delivered.
That might mean color-coded notation instead of standard staff, a twenty-minute lesson instead of an hour, a visual schedule taped to the piano, or an adapted grip on a mallet.

UKELELE
Adults are welcome — including anyone returning to an instrument after a stroke, an injury, or a thirty-year gap. Some families book lessons alongside therapy; others book only lessons.
SERVICE FOUR
Facility & community programs
On-site individual or group music therapy, contracted directly with your organization. We handle the clinical side — assessment, documentation, goal-setting — and work within your existing schedule, staffing, and care plans rather than around them.
Schools & programs
Classroom groups and pull-out sessions, coordinated with your teaching and support staff.
Senior living & memory care
Recurring group programming plus one-to-one sessions for residents who need a quieter room.
Hospice & palliative teams
Bedside sessions focused on comfort, presence, and support for families in the room.
Healthcare & rehab settings
Programming built to sit alongside existing therapy schedules rather than compete with them.
We serve organizations across Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, San Jose, Saratoga, Los Gatos, Campbell, Los Altos, and Mountain View.
