The aspect of being a music therapist that I hold closest to my heart is the opportunity to participate in someone's musical journey. In addition to making music together, I love being there for my client as they share moments of happiness, vulnerability and anything that is on their mind. Every music therapy session I lead reminds me of the privilege I have with working with others and helping them express themselves through music. I have dedicated my life to changing lives through music.
